Our own recommendations
Our own recommendations: where we eat in Moraira and around

These are the places we go to ourselves. Not a list put together from other people’s reviews, and not advertising: we have eaten there, we go back, and we send our guests there with an easy mind.
How this list comes about
We pay the bill everywhere, like anyone else. No business on this page pays to be listed, and we take no commission and no discount. The other side of that is that a place comes off the list again if it disappoints us. So the list is short and changes from time to time.
Five within walking distance, the rest a short drive
In Moraira itself the list has Bar Enzo, Pluk, Kosta, Moodz and Algas l’Andragó. You can reach those on foot from Calamora. The other eight are in Jávea, Benissa, Calpe and the hinterland, a drive of ten minutes to just under half an hour.
What you will find on each page
Behind every tile is a page of its own with the address, the telephone number, the opening hours by day, what kind of kitchen it is, whether there is a terrace and where to park. So you do not have to go searching yourself before you know whether it suits you.
Stay at Calamora in Moraira
The best restaurants and terraces of Moraira are 50 metres from Calamora. After a good dinner you walk back to your comfortable apartment with its terrace, garden and swimming pool – 200 metres from the beach and 250 metres from the harbour.

A maximum of 4 guests may stay here (infants not included).

Frequently asked questions
How do you choose these places?
We go there ourselves. Nobody pays to be listed, we take no commission and no discount, and we include nothing we have not tried ourselves. If a place disappoints, it comes off the list.
Which of these are within walking distance of Calamora?
Bar Enzo, Pluk, Kosta, Moodz and Algas l’Andragó are in Moraira itself and can be reached on foot. The other addresses are in Jávea, Benissa, Calpe and the hinterland.
Do I need to book?
In July and August and at weekends booking is wise, certainly at the restaurants. Each place’s page gives the telephone number and, where possible, a link to book online.
Are there places for an afternoon by the sea?
Yes. Lulu Beachclub and Cala Clémence in Jávea, Mandala Beach Bar in Benissa and Algas l’Andragó in Moraira are all four on the water.
Where do I find more than these thirteen?
The food and drink page lists every category: within walking distance, breakfast and lunch, dinner, bars and nightlife, beach clubs, chiringuitos, rooftop bars, starred restaurants, ice cream parlours, watching sport and with children.
Where can you stay in Moraira, within walking distance of the restaurants?
Calamora is on the central roundabout of Moraira. The first restaurants and shops are about 50 metres away, the marina with its terraces some 250 metres and the sandy beach about 200 metres. So you need no car to go out to eat. The apartment and the penthouse both have two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and access to the shared swimming pool with its children’s pool. You book directly with the owner. See the apartments.
