Food and drink in Moraira
Food and drink in Moraira and the surrounding area
Food and drink in Moraira is a matter of short distances: in the centre, around the church and along the promenade, restaurants, tapas bars and terraces all sit within walking distance of one another. If you want to go a little further, the coast road towards Calpe has restaurants with a terrace by the sea, and within a quarter of an hour to twenty minutes’ drive lie Jávea (Xàbia), Calpe and Benissa with addresses of their own. This page gives you an overview by area, with links to our full restaurant pages.
In the centre of Moraira
The village centre is the place for an evening without the car. Around the church square you will find, among others, Bar Enzo, restaurant and cocktail bar on the Plaza Iglesia. For a drink later in the evening there is Moodz Bar in the centre, and for breakfast, coffee or lunch you can head to Pluk Moraira. From Calamora you can walk to most places in the centre in a few minutes.
Along the coast towards Calpe
On the Carretera Moraira–Calpe, just outside the centre, are several places with a terrace and a sea view. Algas at the Cala de l’Andragó is a beach bar for tapas and cocktails during the day, Amantes de Moraira focuses on rice dishes and fish, and Kosta and The Food Bar are on this route too. A little further on, in Benissa, is Mandala Beach Bar at the Cala de la Fustera.
Eating out in the area
Dinner outside Moraira combines well with a day out. In Jávea (Xàbia) we describe Cala Clémence on the bay of Portitxol, Lulu Beachclub, Volta i Volta and Masena. In the old heart of Calpe you will find Enigma Cocina con Alma, and out in the countryside there is Vall de Cavall. You can read more about the towns themselves on our pages about Jávea and Calpe.
