Lulu Beachclub Javea – a beach club and restaurant on the Costa Blanca

Lulu Beachclub in Jávea (Xàbia) is, despite the name, not a place on the beach: it is a beach club with a pool and a restaurant set in greenery, between the Montgó and lemon trees. The kitchen combines Mediterranean dishes with Japanese influences. You can have lunch, brunch or dinner there, or spend an afternoon by the pool.

Setting and atmosphere

Lulu is on the road from Jávea to Benitachell (Poble Nou de Benitatxell), outside the centre of Jávea. The grounds have a terrace in a botanical garden, a pool area and parking of their own. At times there is live music. It is a place for a long afternoon rather than a quick bite; if you would rather eat by the sea, our overview food and drink in Moraira also has addresses at the water.

The menu has Mediterranean dishes alongside Japanese fusion, with brunch, cocktails and wine as well. The bar is open all day, so you can also drop in just for a drink. The Menu button below this text shows the current menu with prices.

In high season and at the weekend it is wise to book ahead, certainly with a larger group.

Practical tips

Lulu is neither by the sea nor in the centre of Jávea, so you come by car or taxi; its own parking makes that easy. Because the restaurant is open until late, you can make it either a long lunch or a dinner.
