Volta i Volta is a Mediterranean restaurant in the historic heart of Jávea (Xàbia). The kitchen brings back traditional recipes from the region and gives them a contemporary turn, with seasonal produce from the area. An old house in the old town

Volta i Volta occupies a two-storey building on the Carrer Santa Teresa, in the middle of the old town. The conversion kept details of the original house. There is a terrace as well. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has air conditioning, which is welcome in summer.

The kitchen and the menu

The restaurant calls its style nuevas tradiciones: coastal cooking without fuss, in which fresh vegetables, meat and fish take the lead. It works with produce from the immediate area (km 0), and pickles, preserves and marinades are made in house. The MICHELIN Guide gives as examples aubergine with salted tuna belly, pan-fried john dory with confit tomato and olives, and stuffed quail with truffle.
