Explore the finest viewpoints of Moraira
Moraira, on the beautiful Costa Blanca, is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. The area offers a whole range of breathtaking viewpoints you should not miss. Start your adventure at Calamora Moraira, your ideal base for exploring these wonderful spots.

1. El Portet
El Portet is one of the best known beaches of Moraira and offers a beautiful view across the bay. Climb to the higher ground and enjoy a panoramic look at the azure water. This is a perfect place for a relaxed afternoon of sun and sea. There is free parking right by the beach, although it fills up quickly in high season. 📍 See El Portet on Google Maps.
2. Cap d’Or
Close to El Portet you will find Cap d’Or, a glorious piece of coastal countryside. From the watchtower you have an unrivalled view across the Mediterranean. The walk to the viewpoint and back usually takes about three quarters of an hour, along an unsurfaced but easily walkable path. There is a small free car park at the start of the path. The spot is especially popular with walkers and photographers who want to take the perfect picture. 📍 See Cap d’Or on Google Maps.
3. Peñón de Ifach
Although the Peñón de Ifach lies in Calpe strictly speaking, the view from this iconic rock is certainly worth a day trip. Entry to the nature park is free, but there is a daily visitor limit for the climb to the summit — check on the website of the Generalitat Valenciana beforehand whether a (free) booking is needed. You can park in the paid car park at the foot of the rock in Calpe. The walking route to the top takes about 2 to 2.5 hours there and back, runs partly through a tunnel, and offers spectacular views and the chance to observe unique flora and fauna. 📍 See the Peñón de Ifach on Google Maps.
4. Serra de Bernia
Another place that asks a little more effort is the Serra de Bernia. Allow half a day for the most popular route to the Forat, the hole in the ridge — sturdy walking shoes are advisable. This mountain range offers several walking routes and viewpoints that take you through rugged countryside and a rich history. Explore the old forts and enjoy the view over the surrounding valleys. 📍 See the car park and starting point on Google Maps.
