Flying: Alicante or Valencia
Most guests land at Alicante-Elche. That airport is the closest to Moraira and has direct flights from Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Brussels among others. Valencia is further away, but it is a good alternative if there is a better flight from there or if you want to spend a few days in the city. From both airports you take the AP-7 to exit 63 (Benissa/Teulada). If your flight is seriously delayed, read what you can claim on the page about flight delay and cancellation.
In your own car
Those staying longer, or wintering here, often choose the car. The route runs through France to the Spanish border at La Jonquera and then along the AP-7 past Barcelona and Valencia. In France you pay tolls; the Spanish section of the AP-7 as far as Alicante is toll-free. The full route description to the front door is in the directions to Calamora. Arranging a car once you are here is also possible: see car hire in Moraira.
Without a car
Without a car there are two options. A transfer booked in advance takes you straight from the airport to the apartment. Public transport works too: ALSA runs from Alicante airport to Teulada among other places, and the tram from Alicante stops at Teulada station, with a change at Benidorm. From there you take the local bus or a taxi to Moraira. That takes more time and some planning, certainly outside the high season.
