The driving times are indications without traffic. On busy Sundays and around kick-off in Valencia you should allow extra time.
Valencia: Mestalla and Levante
For most guests Valencia is the obvious choice: a good 120 kilometres along the AP-7, and you can combine the match with an afternoon in the city. According to the club, 2026/27 is the last full season at the historic Mestalla, in use since 1923. From the summer of 2027 Valencia CF intend to play in the new Nou Mestalla stadium. If you still want to see a match at the old ground, this season is your last chance. Because Valencia put the whole first half of the season on sale at once, this is where you can plan furthest ahead.

Elche, Alicante and Villarreal
The Estadio Martínez Valero of Elche CF is a good hour’s drive away and a good alternative when there is no home match in Valencia. Do note that Elche tickets are issued in your name: the details you enter when ordering must match whoever goes in.
Hércules CF play at the Rico Pérez in Alicante. The level is lower than LaLiga, but the club has a long history, the tickets are considerably cheaper and you are there in under an hour. A match combines well with a visit to Alicante and the castle above the city.
Villarreal CF play at the Estadio de la Cerámica, in the province of Castellón. At about two hours each way this is mainly of interest to real enthusiasts, or combined with a night on the way.
Tickets and kick-off times
Always buy tickets through the official website or the ticket channel of the home club; the links are above. For popular matches, such as the derby or a game against Real Madrid or FC Barcelona, general sale is limited and tickets go quickly. Villarreal and Valencia have an English-language ticket page; at Levante and Hércules the ordering system is in Spanish only. None of the clubs has a Dutch-language ticket page.
The matchday is in the league calendar, but the exact day and kick-off time are only fixed per round. Check again shortly before your visit, because evening matches in Spain often start at 21.00 or 21.30.
Practical from Moraira
For an evening match in Valencia you will not be back until late at night. So agree who will drive back, or pick a weekend match during the day. For Villarreal a night on the way is often more comfortable than there and back in one day.
Football in Teulada-Moraira itself
The municipal club is called FB Teulada Moraira and plays in the 2026/27 season in the Primera FFCV, the top regional division of the Valencian federation. On a local pitch you see the sport without the stadium atmosphere, but close to the action and for a fraction of the price. Home matches are usually played at weekends; the club announces them on its own social media.
