Cycling across the Costa Blanca
The first time I felt the warm sun on my back while pedalling along the coastline of the Costa Blanca, I could hardly believe it. The ring of my bicycle bell mixed with the soft rush of the sea and the smell of salt and pine trees coming towards me. Moraira really is a magical place to begin your cycling adventure, with its picturesque views that keep their charm in every season.

The charm of the cycling routes in Moraira
Moraira offers countless possibilities for cyclists of every level. One of my favourites is the route to Cala Llebeig, a picturesque cove only 5 kilometres from the centre. As you cycle, the panorama keeps changing: from broad fields full of vineyards to the impressive coastal cliffs. The route is well signposted and runs along quiet roads where you hardly meet any traffic. 📍 See Cala Llebeig on Google Maps.
Exploring the Costa Blanca
Cycling across the Costa Blanca is not complete without the route from Moraira to Calpe. This 15-kilometre ride offers a beautiful view of the iconic Peñón de Ifach, the impressive rock at Calpe that stands out above the horizon like a landmark. It is a moderate route that takes you along winding roads and fragrant pine woods.
