Google Maps
The club gives riding lessons for all ages and levels, classical dressage and hacks through the landscape between the coast and the hills. The horses ridden are Spanish (Pura Raza Española). The website is in Spanish and German; you can also get in touch through WhatsApp and social media.
Book in advance
Lessons and hacks are by appointment. Call or e-mail a few days ahead and state your experience, your height and weight and the ages of any children, so that the club can pick a suitable horse and a suitable ride.
What to expect
For beginners
If you have never ridden, or not for a long time, it is best to start with a lesson in the arena before heading out into the countryside. That way you get used to the horse and the instructor knows what you can manage.
For experienced riders
Experienced riders can ask about longer hacks or dressage lessons. Bring your own riding boots, or sturdy shoes with a small heel; ask in advance whether hats can be borrowed.
With children
The lessons are meant for all ages. Ask about the minimum age and whether a parent may walk alongside. More ideas for a day with children are on the page what is there to do in Moraira for children.
When to ride
Spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons for a hack. In July and August you are better off riding early in the morning or late in the afternoon; in the middle of the day it is too hot for both rider and horse.
