Vanuit de haven van Santa Pola vaart elke dag meerdere keren een bootje naar het eiland Tabarca \u2014 het enige bewoonde eiland van de Comunidad Valenciana. De overtocht duurt ongeveer 20 tot 25 minuten en kost, afhankelijk van de rederij (Kontiki of Tabarca Rutamar), rond de \u20ac15 tot \u20ac18 retour per persoon. Reserveer in het hoogseizoen liever vooraf online.<\/p>\n

Op Tabarca zelf is geen auto toegestaan: u loopt door het kleine ommuurde dorpje, met een handvol restaurants voor verse vis, en het heldere water rondom het eiland is een van de beste snorkelplekken van de Costa Blanca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Santa Pola zelf, waar de boot vertrekt, is een levendige vissershaven met een eigen kasteel en een lang zandstrand. Vanuit Moraira rijdt u ongeveer een uur naar Santa Pola \u2014 combineer het bezoek aan het eiland met een ochtend in het havenstadje.<\/p>\n

Eiland Tabarca vanuit Santa Pola<\/h2>\n

Vanuit het vissersstadje Santa Pola vaart een boot naar Tabarca, het enige bewoonde eiland van Valencia \u2014 een verre maar bijzondere dagtrip vanuit Calamora.<\/p>\n
