Cala Cl\u00e9mence del Portitxol<\/strong> is a Mediterranean restaurant on the bay of Portitxol in J\u00e1vea (X\u00e0bia), in the front row at the water. You eat rice dishes, fish, meat and desserts with a view over the cove and its white pebbles and clear water. From Moraira it makes a good destination for a long lunch, paired if you like with a day on the J\u00e1vea coast.<\/p>\n The restaurant is on the Carrer de la Barraca, in the Mar Blava area between the centre of J\u00e1vea and the Cap de la Nau. The terrace looks straight out over the Cala del Portitxol, also known as Cala Barraca. The menu has Valencian rice dishes, fish and seafood, meat dishes and desserts. You can book online, or by telephone between 9:00 and 11:30. Groups of more than eight book only by e-mail, at the address on the website. Because the times differ from season to season, it is wise to check in advance whether the restaurant is open.<\/p>\n Lunch at Cala Cl\u00e9mence pairs well with other places on this side of J\u00e1vea. The Cap de la Nau headland is nearby, and in the centre of J\u00e1vea there is the old town and the harbour. If you would rather eat in J\u00e1vea in the evening, there is Volta i Volta in the centre of X\u00e0bia<\/a>.
