You hire a sunbed, there is service at the bed, often a pool and music, and the menu is broader. It is a day out rather than a lunch.<\/p>\n<h2>What it costs<\/h2>\n<p>A sunbed usually costs between ten and fifteen euros a day; a VIP bed or one with its own service runs up to thirty euros or more. Sometimes a minimum spend is asked instead of a hire charge. Each place&rsquo;s page says which applies.<\/p>\n<h2>Booking<\/h2>\n<p>In season you really do need to book a sunbed, certainly at weekends. That is usually done by telephone or WhatsApp and sometimes online. Arrive on time: a reserved bed is not held indefinitely.<\/p>\n<h2>With children<\/h2>\n<p>Beach clubs with a pool are often easier with children than a beach: shallow water, supervision and a playground within reach, while you stay at your table or on your bed. Come at ten and you get the best spot; come after four and it is quieter and the sun is softer.
